Had brunch at a cafe in Darlinghurst. I felt good with the fact that I actually didn't mind being alone. On my way back home, there were two guys also walking behind me. I heard one say, 'Look at this lady, she's got beautiful hair, nice body'.... so I looked behind not realizing it was me he was referring to. Then he went....'she's got lovely eyes too'. What do you say to that? I just said thank you with a smile and with a look on my face which meant yeah yeah whatever. Then they walked past me. The guy was still talking to me and walking backwards...'but it's true, you've got lovely eyes, and now you're making me walk backwards'.

I just thought, at this time, this is just what I needed. Made me feel good...boozed my ego when my self esteem doesn't seem to be at the greatest. My friend said that it was a re-assurance that I'm still very much marketable.
