First time I had the chance to have a stroll in my neighborhood and I must say, it just doesn't cease to impress me. I made the right move. Checked out the local Catholic Church after breakfast today and I love it! Reminds me of an old church back home...very elegantly maintained. It made me feel excited to hear mass tomorrow and be part of the Catholic community in my suburb. A single person like me, living in a foreign country like Australia, no family around to fall back on, only good friends who also are busy with their own lives....it's nice to know that you still feel the sense of community through religion. Spirituality just fills up the void inside you. It's the faith that gives you strength and optimism that inspite and despite of everything, you're not alone. It just gives you peace and happiness within. And at the end of the day, that's what matters the most.
